I don't have any statistics for this, but I'm pretty sure I could eat out for every single meal for the rest of my life and still never get to every restaurant in San Francisco. We absolutely deserve the "foodie culture" label. You would be out of your crack-addled mind to argue otherwise. And now that I think of it, it turns out San Francisco has an overabundance of delicious food
and crack-addled minds... I digress. I'm writing to say that I miss you – more than I’ve ever missed anyone or anything, anywhere. I don't care how many urban, trendy tapas bars and sexy, exotic Asian restaurants we have here: if there is a world where you don't exist, I shouldn't have to live there. I'll never be accurately be described as "trendy" or "exotic" anyway, and I miss my favorite burger and shake place.

Hilarious! And great writing - made for a great Friday laugh...thanks!
ReplyDeletewell those "crack-addled minds" might be fewer and further between if you chose not to frequent the Tenderloin. just sayin'. hahah.
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh, I LOVE the shakes there. Definitely been twice already.
ReplyDeleteI miss my Obama burger. So, so, so much. People here keep wanting me to break my one hamburger a month rule, and they're just wrong. None of your measly hamburgers are worth it. None!
