My boss keeps these little gems in the candy bowl downstairs. I have eaten AT LEAST thirty of them in the last two days. They are delicious. Also, I think of my bff Hilary HEATH every time I eat them. which is, as previously stated, quite frequently.
I woke up late (read: when I always get up) this morning, and on the walk down P Street, Stuart and I noticed that our favorite blue
BMW wasn’t in its usual parking spot. At work, the Answers to Interrogatories were fun, but I ended up working until 6:30 again. I would have stayed longer but the commute home is 28 minutes and I wanted to be on time for dinner at 7:00. I planned on going into Georgetown to buy some postcards and the compulsory
cupcake, but I – predictably – decided to send some emails and eat a spoonful of peanut butter instead. I’m just sitting down to do my readings for the briefings on Friday morning, reflecting on my day and, I guess what I’m trying to say is, you feel like home today.
It feels like I live here. I like that.
